I've had my shiny new iPhone 4 for a couple of days now, and I must say - it's pretty amazing. Granted, I upgraded from the iPhone 3G, a virtual smartphone antique, but still, I'm handily impressed. Most of all, I love the speed: the boost to a 1GHz processor and 512 MB of RAM really makes this an iPad mini. The fast app switching is to die for - no more swapping out to the home screen and panning around many pages to find my most-used apps. Finally, the super high-res "retina" display is nothing short of amazing. I'm so happy with the crisp, bright display that my ability to see the jags on the older low-res iPhone icons seems like a win instead of something bad.
